Accountant (AR, AP)

We are looking for a motivated Accountant (AR, AP) to join our finance team and take ownership of our daily accounting operations. This is a fully remote role within a US-based company, where you will focus on keeping our financial data organized and accurate.

Your primary goal will be to ensure all incoming invoices, bank transactions, and credit card expenses are accurately recorded in our system, allowing for seamless period-end reconciliations. Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

● Enter vendor invoices into our system with high precision.

● Manage the approval flow to ensure bills are authorized and ready for payment runs.

● Communicate with vendors to clarify billing details or track down missing information.

Cash Applications & Credit Cards:

● Post bank transactions to the correct cash accounts daily.

● Categorize credit card expenses, making sure every charge is coded to the right

department.

● Collect and organize receipts and supporting docs for all bank and card activity.

Collections & AR Support:

● Send out reviewed invoices to our clients.

● Monitor overdue payments and reach out to clients with friendly reminders (soft

collections).

● Keep the team updated on when we can expect payments to hit our accounts.

Requirements:

● English: You have an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher. You are comfortable

writing professional emails to US-based vendors and clients.

● Education: You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.

● Tech Skills: You have a solid grasp of MS Excel and understand how a Chart of Accounts works.

● Mindset: You are naturally detail-oriented (you're the person who catches the small

typos) and reliable. Working evening hours requires good self-discipline, and we value

people who can manage their own workflow.

● Team Player: Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a

dynamic environment. Work terms:
