Igaming mid-level Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Independently manage legal tasks from start to finish (A-Z) without constant operational oversight
• Legal support for clients in the iGaming sector, including:
  • Company registration and ongoing corporate support in various jurisdictions
  • Assistance in obtaining and maintaining licenses
  • Analysis, preparation, and review of contracts typical for the sector (marketing, software development services, licenые agreements)
• Direct client communication:
  • Professional and courteous interaction with clients
  • Explaining legal positions, risks, and possible solutions in a clear and understandable way Participation in calls and correspondence with international clients in English
• Understanding the logic and stages of legal processes (licensing, compliance, corporate governance, contract management)
• Independent research and analysis of information (legislation, regulatory requirements, legal practice)
• Ability to formulate clear, structured questions to clients or senior colleagues when information is insufficient Work with internal documents, databases, and company task management systems Assistance with bank account registration

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in iGaming (legal consulting or in-house)
• Minimum 3 years of general legal experience
• Law degree
• Client-facing experience and understanding of professional communication standards
• Strong working knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Strong soft skills:

• Clear oral and written communication
• Ability to explain complex legal issues to the clients in simple terms
• Professionalism, client-oriented mindset

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results
• Punctuality, attention to detail, adherence to deadlines Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with iGaming licenses (Curaçao, MGA, Anjouan, Isle of Man, etc.) Experience interacting with regulators, banks, and payment providers
• Understanding of AML/KYC and compliance processes in iGaming
