Web Developer Magento / WordPress (m/f)Remote by arrangement

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Web Developer (m/f) with a focus on Magento and WordPress, who is also confident in SEO and has experience with the integration of payment methods.

We are an international e-commerce company headquartered in Germany that operates online shops throughout Europe and the United States. We focus on premium design mailboxes, parcel boxes, house numbers, and related outdoor solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Your responsibilities

Develop, maintain and optimise our existing Magento and WordPress shops

Plan, set up and launch new Magento and WordPress shops

Implement new features, templates and plugins (frontend & backend)

Carry out technical and content-related on-page optimisation for search engines (SEO)

Integrate and maintain payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Sofort, etc.)

Optimise performance (loading times, Core Web Vitals, caching)

Analyse and fix errors and ensure ongoing maintenance and updates

Work closely with marketing, sales and the content team

Your profile

Several years of practical experience in web development, especially with:

Magento (ideally 2.x)

WordPress (themes & plugins)

Confident handling of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Confident in working with artificial intelligence tools and technologies

Solid knowledge of SEO (on-page, technical SEO, structured data, PageSpeed)

Experience with the integration of payment gateways and checkout processes

Clean, structured way of working with a strong focus on security and performance

Independent, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take responsibility

Good English skills
