Опис вакансії
Position Overview We are hiring an After-Hours Dispatcher to cover operations outside standard business hours in Central Standard Time (CST). This role ensures continuity of service when the main office is closed.
Schedule (CST)
Weekdays: 5:00 PM — 7:00 AM CST
Weekends & Holidays: 24-hour on-call coverage
Rotating shifts possible
Key Responsibilities
Monitor drivers and loads during after-hours
Handle breakdowns, delays, emergencies, and load issues
Communicate with drivers, brokers, customers, and roadside services
Update load status and document incidents accurately
Escalate critical issues when required
Protect on-time delivery and minimize disruptions
Requirements
Dispatch or trucking experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently under pressure
Reliable phone and internet
Familiarity with ELDs and U.S. trucking operations
