WordPress Developer (Elementor)

With a small team of fewer than 25, we value clear, thoughtful, and enjoyable communication.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Middle Elementor Developer who goes beyond basic visual editing and understands how Elementor works under the hood.

This role is suitable for a developer who already has hands-on experience with custom Elementor widgets, but does not need to design complex architectures from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Elementor pages and templates
• Develop custom Elementor widgets using the Widgets API
• Work with:
  • Section and Page Templates
  • Theme Builder templates (Header, Footer, Single, Archive)
• Use dynamic content:
  • WordPress core fields
  • ACF and custom meta fields
• Extend Elementor using:
  • hooks and filters
  • basic custom controls
• Customize existing themes
• Maintain and improve existing Elementor-based websites
• Fix layout, responsiveness, and frontend issues

We expect that you:

• Have practical experience with custom Elementor widgets
• Understand basics of how Elementor:
  • stores page data
  • renders frontend output
• Are confident with:
  • PHP (basic OOP)
  • JavaScript (Elementor frontend context)
  • CSS (responsive layouts in Elementor)
• Have good WordPress knowledge:
  • hooks & filters
  • custom post types
  • meta fields
• Can work not only visually, but also with code when needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with ACF Pro
• Understanding differences between Elementor and Gutenberg
• Basic performance optimization (DOM size, heavy widgets)
• Experience supporting existing client websites

Important

This role is not for developers who only assemble pages from ready-made widgets and templates.

You should be comfortable:

• editing PHP code for widgets
• adjusting logic via hooks and filters
• working with dynamic data in Elementor
