Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech company that is re-engineering investing for the public. The company combines AI-powered guidance with transparent, low-cost investment solutions, enabling users to manage stocks, ETFs, bonds, and other assets through a unified dashboard. Their mission is to make intelligent investing accessible, affordable, and trustworthy, while adhering to regulatory standards and providing explainable recommendations.

Skills & Experience:

Mobile Development:

• 5+ years with React, 3+ years with React Native for iOS and Android
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and performance optimization
• Bonus: Experience with app store deployment and release management

Backend Development:

• 5+ years in Python (FastAPI preferred, Flask acceptable)
• Consumption of 3rd party APIs
• Testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, etc.)
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Asynchronous programming and background task processing

Database:

• Intermediate or higher SQL (MySQL a plus)
• ORM experience (SQLModel, SQLAlchemy)
• Data modeling for relational databases

DevOps & Tools:

• Proficient with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose for local development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment

Senior Competencies:

• Proven ability to architect scalable, maintainable systems
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical discussions
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Track record of delivering production applications end-to-end

Nice to Have:

• AWS experience
• Monitoring and observability tools
• Fintech experience: banking, credit cards, stock trading
• Open Banking exposure
• Prior experience in AGILE workflow
