Job Requirements:

Professional qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, architecture or another related field
• Knowledge of relevant building materials / construction methods

Experience

• One year of experience in the specialty after obtaining a qualification
• Management experience
• Experience in writing reports in English

Language

• Ukrainian written and spoken
• Basic English

IT

• Excellent computer skills (Word & Excel, Internet, writing emails)
• Technical ability to select methods for collecting digital data
• Knowledge of GIS or AutoCAD
• Experience using ODK software

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Program activities and Quality Management

• Compliance with the relevant technical instructions during the implementation of the project
• Control of quality, time and costs for the implementation of WaSH and Shelter activities
• Coordinating and conducting technical assessment after prioritization, using TGH standard reporting documentation
• Regular evaluation and feedback on the quality of project implementation
• Participation in the monitoring and the evaluation of the project implementation, and supervision of corrective actions if necessary
• If necessary: mobilization, training and supervision of daily workers to take part in the activities

Financial and Logistics Management

• Support the Logistics Department in comparing and rationalizing the activities to forecast savings
• Maintaining accurate records to confirm payments to suppliers or cash assistance to beneficiaries

• Support the Logistics Department in quality control and in following up on procurement process

Communication and Coordination

• Weekly reports upon request from the Basic Needs Manager
• Activity reports on WaSH and Shelter activities upon request from the Basic Needs Manager
• Communication, development and maintenance of good relations with TGH representatives for the project and concerned stakeholders
• Representation of TGH at sector-specific meetings upon request

Quality Management

• Implementation of the WaSH and Shelter activities in accordance with the national standards and requirements of Triangle — TGH and/or the donors
• Regular visits to the sites of the WaSH and Shelter activities to monitor the work of the contractors and/or the beneficiaries. Particular attention should be paid to health and safety, technical quality, environmental friendliness (waste disposal), as well as user engagement and feedback
• Actively collaborate with the Basic Needs Manager to contribute to the standardization of the technical activities of the project
