About the Product

BAWIC is a cloud-based B2B SaaS platform for the construction industry (BIM/AEC). We help architecture, engineering, and construction teams collaborate on building projects through 3D model visualization, issue tracking, and document management.

Product Features:

• Complex interfaces: dashboards with widgets, issue tracking, document management and many more
• 3D viewer for viewing BIM building models
• Data-heavy UI: tables, filters, bulk actions, analytics
• Real-time collaboration: comments, mentions, activity feeds

This isn’t a simple landing page — you need to design UX for complex workflows.

About the Team

Small team of 4 developers. Fully remote. We value autonomy and the ability to find solutions independently.

What We Expect

• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web applications
• Expert proficiency in Figma
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems
• Portfolio with B2B/SaaS product examples (dashboards, complex interfaces)
• UX research skills: user flows, wireframes, prototypes
• Ability to analyze competitors and find best practices
• Ability to quickly understand an unfamiliar niche (construction/BIM) and grasp the context of use
• Interest in using modern tools (including AI) to improve design workflow
• English B2 or higher

Nice to Have

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Experience with data visualization (charts, graphs, analytics)
• Familiarity with construction industry or BIM tools
• Experience with design tokens and frontend integration (Tailwind CSS)
• Animation and micro-interaction skills
• Experience with metrics

What You’ll Do

• Design UX for new features
• Create high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Develop and maintain the design system
• Analyze competitors and industry standards
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs
• Research user needs
• Optimize existing interfaces based on feedback

2. Interview (60 min) — intro + portfolio walkthrough + discussion of 1−2 projects
3. Short design challenge (optional, only if needed)
