ProCareer Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of its client — a leading international physical supplier and bunker trader of marine fuel with over 20 years of experience. The company is well-regarded for its strong reputation in marine bunkering, combining deep local market expertise in the Black Sea with a Western business approach.

We are currently seeking a Tanker Operations Specialist in Odessa to provide shore-based operational support for barges operating primarily in the Black Sea. This is a full-time, on-call position offered in a remote (work from home) format.

Key responsibilities:

• operational coordination of bunkering activities for bunkering barges;
• interaction with barge masters, local port authorities, agents, and receiving vessels;
• control of barge readiness for operations (documentation, crew, permits);
• monitoring compliance with operational procedures and checklists;
• coordination of bunkering start and completion, control of timelines;
• crew management (schedules, keeping in touch with the crew);
• during repair periods, visiting barges and coordinating bridge personnel in close cooperation with the technical department;
• operational support of bunkering activities;
• control of accuracy and completeness of operational and port documentation;
• participation in the review of operational issues, deviations, and delays;
• stock monitoring;
• regular communication with the office regarding operational status;
• other operational tasks related to bunkering activities, as required.

The role involves independent work and responsibility within the scope of operational tasks.

What we are looking for:

• experience in bunkering operations;
• and/or experience in port agency / marine operations;
• and/or previous experience as Master or Chief Officer;
• understanding of maritime and port processes and documentation;
• fluent English and Russian (spoken and written);
• readiness to work in an operational mode (irregular working hours);
• willingness to develop professionally in marine operations and bunkering, with a readiness to learn and deepen expertise.

We consider only candidates with practical experience in marine operations or bunkering.
