Medical Data Management, hereinafter referred to as the MDM Representative Office, an international company with over 25 years of expertise, part of the Proxima Research International group of companies and a leading provider of communications and research solutions for companies operating in the pharmaceutical market, is opening a vacancy to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan — Head of Sales.
All the right factors align here: an ambitious spirit—and consequently, growth to a C-level position or even higher—entrusted clients and clear guidelines for launching and growing the business. Well-developed sales skills and a results-oriented approach are essential. Become the face of MDM in communications with leading pharmaceutical companies and manage projects that shape the future of the industry.
Job responsibilities:
1. Client base development — prospecting for new clients:
- managing leads generated by events;
- expanding the client base by working with existing contacts;
- identifying new business opportunities during meetings and presentations;
- systematically populating and updating the contact database in the CRM.
2. Achieving planned sales and profit targets:
- organizing and conducting meetings aimed at promoting and selling the company’s products, with mandatory reporting in CRM;
- achieving planned sales targets for the company’s products according to the sales plan;
- maintaining and segmenting the database of potential company clients;
- development and delivery of presentations for existing and potential clients;
- conducting negotiations with clients, providing professional recommendations on marketing activities.
3. Client communication at all stages of project management:
- organizing and participating in project sales negotiations;
- briefing clients, setting tasks for preparing commercial proposals;
- preparing commercial proposals and presentations, presenting them to clients;
- agreeing on all project details with the client, transferring the project to the implementation departments;
- agreeing on and signing contracts with clients, monitoring compliance with contract terms;
- monitoring project progress, collaborating with the production department, and presenting project results together with the team.
4. Monitoring document flow with clients:
- overseeing the provision of invoices and statements to clients;
- ensuring timely payment for services by clients in accordance with the terms of the contract.
5. Participation in marketing events and representing the company at these events through presentations, reports, moderation, or participation in discussions.
6. Market and competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and provide reports on market changes and potential business opportunities.
7. Building long-term relationships with clients through the full sales cycle and supporting clients at all stages of the project, as well as establishing strong and trusting relationships with clients and partners.
Requiredcompetencies:
— At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical companies (experience in positions of product manager/brand manager is a plus); — Sales experience in the Kazakhstan market, B2B; — English language proficiency at B2 level; — Experience working with CRM and analytics platforms; — Experience with business systems; — Ability to build processes and automation; — Proven experience in conducting trainings/motivational meetings; — Knowledge of strategic planning/goal setting; — Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve team performance/KPIs; — Strong organizational and communication skills.
