Legal Intern for Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Team

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Intern to join our Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practice in the Kyiv office.

This is an excellent opportunity for alaw student or recent graduate to gain practical experience in financing, regulatory matters, and capital markets, working alongside experienced lawyers on complex local and cross-border transactions.

As an Intern, you will support the team with legal research, drafting documents, monitoring regulatory changes, and assisting in transaction-related workstreams. The role offers exposure to a wide range of financing structures, secured transactions, banking regulations, and capital markets projects while developing your professional skills and understanding of the financial sector.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting legal research under Ukrainian and international law.

• Preparing analytical notes, summaries, and internal research memos.

• Assisting in drafting standard legal documents (letters, requests, basic contractual forms).

• Verifying references to legislation and statutory quotations.

• Supporting transaction teams in preparing documentation and checklists.

• Translating legal texts and correspondence to/from English.

• Preparing materials for client presentations and internal workshops.

• Monitoring updates in banking, finance, regulatory and capital markets legislation.

• Providing administrative and document management support.

Key skills and experience required:

• 4th-6th year Law student or recent graduate from a reputable Ukrainian university.

• Strong interest in banking law, finance, capital markets, and transactional work.

• Understanding of fundamental principles of civil, commercial, and financial law of Ukraine.

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Strong analytical and research skills; ability to handle large volumes of information.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
