Duty station: Office in Dnipro Start date: January 2026 Reports to: Project Manager Job Description The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for providing technical supervision, coordination, and quality assurance of case management services in the field of Child Protection and family support for families in vulnerable and high-risk situations. The role involves close collaboration with Case Managers, Project Manager, Senior field coordinator, and project partners to ensure compliance with national standards, humanitarian principles, and project objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group supervision sessions for Case Managers, including workload monitoring and analysis of task performance.
  • Adapt, implement, and update case management tools in line with organizational standards and donor requirements.
  • Support the professional development of Case Managers and contribute to the prevention of burnout and secondary stress.
  • Review and ensure the quality of needs assessments, individual case plans, crisis intervention plans, and case closure processes.
  • Ensure adherence to case management principles, child safeguarding standards, confidentiality, and the «Do No Harm» principle.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc reviews of case files and provide structured feedback to Case Managers.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of Case Managers' work with the aim of improving outcomes.
  • Ensure correct and consistent use of the CPIMS+ (Primero) electronic case management system.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of internal SOPs, guidelines, and training materials.
  • Participate in required trainings and supervision related to the project (including CPIMS+ / Primero, PSEA, etc.).
  • Prepare reports contributing to the achievement of project objectives and analyze supervision results.
  • Analyze challenges faced by Case Managers during the implementation of social support activities.
  • Provide training to Case Managers and inform them about relevant changes in legislation and policies.
  • Closely collaborate with the Project Manager to align actions with project goals and ensure effective coordination of efforts.

Mandatory and Preferred Requirements:

  • University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Pedagogy, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Child Protection. Experience in a similar supervisory role or as a Case Manager is mandatory; managerial experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of case management principles, Child Protection frameworks, and humanitarian standards.
  • Proven experience with case management documentation and electronic case management systems (experience with CPIMS+ / Primero is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in Ukrainian (native level). Knowledge of English and/or Italian is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to supporting vulnerable populations, including IDPs; able to inspire others and work effectively as part of a team.
