Technical Superintendent

Location: Odesa, Ukraine (office-based, not remote) Company: Trident Maritime

Trident Maritime is expanding its technical management team and is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join our office in Odesa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical management of assigned vessels in accordance with Class, Flag, ISM and Company standards
• Planning and supervision of maintenance, repairs, dry-docking and inspections
• Coordination with Classification Societies, Flag Administrations, PSC, shipyards and service providers
• Technical support to Masters and Chief Engineers
• Review and control of PMS, defect lists, repair specifications and technical budgets
• Attendance onboard vessels as required (surveys, repairs, inspections, emergencies)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Technical Superintendent (mandatory)
• Previous seagoing experience is required; Chief Engineer experience is highly preferable
• Good technical knowledge of ship machinery, systems and marine engineering practices
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Ability and readiness to travel abroad and attend vessels when required
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with international stakeholders
