About the Role

We are looking for a Retention & Direct Marketing Strategy Manager to drive the development and growth of retention initiatives across our products. This role is focused on strategy, analytics, and project development, rather than pure execution.

You will be responsible for shaping retention approaches, improving customer journeys, and launching

initiatives that increase engagement, retention and lifetime value, working closely with product, analytics, design, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement direct marketing and retention strategies across multiple channels (email, SMS, push and others).
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior, including segmentation and lifecycle stages.
  • Design, build, and optimize customer journeys to improve retention and engagement.
  • Launch, test, and validate new hypotheses aimed at increasing retention metrics and LTV.
  • Collaborate with product teams, analysts, designers, and technical specialists on retention-related initiatives.
  • Build structured reporting, interpret results, and formulate data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Implement and scale automated and omnichannel communication flows across products.

Requirements

  • 2−3+ years of experience in direct marketing, marketing, CRM or retention-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization and customer lifecycle principles.
  • Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets; experience working with BI tools.
  • Hands-on experience with messaging and CRM platforms (e.g. Mindbox, Infobip, UniSender or similar).
  • Ability to read, interpret and work with data, build hypotheses and validate them through testing.
  • Experience in project-based work: launching and developing new retention or communication initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of trigger-based communications and key performance metrics (OR, CTR, CR, ROI, LTV, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills: ability to present ideas, results and structured proposals.
  • English level B2-C1.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with A/B testing frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.What We Offer
