Role Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented researcher to identify air charter aircraft and accurately add fleet data into our back-end system. You’ll search operator websites, public aviation sources, and approved databases to collect information such as aircraft tail numbers, aircraft photos, cabin/avionics features, configurations, and other relevant details. Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed. You may also be asked to perform other tasks to support the software growth and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Research air charter operator fleets and individual aircraft information

• Capture and input data into our back-end system, including (but not limited to):

  • Aircraft tail numbers (registrations)

  • Aircraft make/model/series and variants

  • Base location (when available) and operator association

  • Cabin configuration and features (seating, Wi-Fi, lavatory, galley, baggage, etc.)

  • Performance or range notes (when reliable sources exist)

  • Available aircraft photos and photo source links/credits

• Verify data across multiple sources to reduce errors and duplicates

• Follow a standardized naming/tagging convention and formatting rules

• Flag unclear, conflicting, or missing data and document what you found

• Maintain a clean audit trail: include sources/links used for each aircraft record

• Communicate progress, blockers, and edge cases with the Uplift Aero team

Tools & Workflow

• Web research across operator sites and aviation listings

• Back-end data entry (you'll be trained on our system)

• Google Sheets / Airtable-style tracking (or similar)

• Basic image handling (saving, linking, or attaching photos per our guidelines)

What «Good» Looks Like

• High accuracy with minimal rework

• Consistent formatting and tagging across records

• Clear source documentation and notes

• Strong ability to spot duplicates, mismatches, and suspicious info

Qualifications

Required

• Strong online research skills and comfort cross-checking sources

• High attention to detail and ability to follow process

• Experience with data entry, spreadsheets, or CRM-style tools

• Clear written and verbal communication in English

• Reliable internet and ability to meet weekly output targets

Nice to Have (not required)

• Familiarity with aviation terminology (Part 135, charter operators, aircraft models)

• Experience working with aircraft registries or aviation databases

• Comfort identifying aircraft types from photos and operator materials

• Prior work in lead research / web scraping / data QA (manual, not necessarily coding)
