UI/UX Product Designer

We’re looking for a sharp, product-minded UI/UX designer who can turn ideas into clean, intuitive, high-converting interfaces.

This is initially a contractor-based role for occasional product and feature projects. If we work well together and the fit is strong, there’s clear potential for long-term collaboration or full-time employment.

We care less about fancy titles and more about taste, clarity of thinking, and the ability to ship practical design fast.

Key responsabilities

• Design intuitive, high-quality UI/UX for SaaS products (web-first, AI-native tools).
• Translate product requirements and rough ideas into wireframes, user flows, and polished interfaces.
• Improve onboarding flows and core product experiences to increase activation and retention.
• Collaborate closely with founders, developers, and product to shape features from idea to release.
• Create and maintain simple, scalable design systems.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, and iteration.
• Iterate fast based on feedback and real user behavior.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating SaaS or product design work (web apps preferred).
• Clear understanding of UX fundamentals — user flows, hierarchy, clarity, usability.
• Strong visual design skills (typography, spacing, layout, consistency).
• Comfortable designing in Figma (or equivalent tools).
• Product-minded: you think beyond «making it pretty» — you design for outcomes.
• Proficient in English.
• Able to work independently and asynchronously.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-native or data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience improving onboarding or activation flows.
• Understanding of product metrics and conversion optimization.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
• Basic frontend awareness (you understand what’s easy vs painful to implement).

Employment terms

Contractor-based, project or milestone-driven. Flexible workload depending on product roadmap. If collaboration works well: potential for long-term retainer or employment.
