Shopify Frontend Developer (Mid-Level, EU)

We are looking for a Mid-Level Shopify Frontend Developer to join our team on a freelance basis (40h/week). You will work in a Scrum environment and collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers.

This is a 100% remote position with core working hours from 9:00−18:00 CET.

Working language: English only. Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of Shopify experience

• Minimum 3 years of general development experience
• Experience working in team-based environments (Scrum)

Must-Have Skills: Shopify Strong knowledge of Liquid

• Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0
• Theme customization and section-based architecture
• Solid understanding of Shopify theme structure

Frontend Strong proficiency in:

• Vanilla JavaScript
• HTML5
• CSS
• Confident use of Git / GitHub in team workflows

Working Style:

• Experience working in Scrum
• Participation in daily standups
• Writes clean and well-documented code where appropriate
• Builds efficient, pragmatic solutions (no overengineering)

Nice-to-Have Experience with:

• React or Vue
• TypeScript
• Shopify Functions
• Headless setups
• Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals)
• Experience integrating Shopify Apps
