Junior Back Office Specialist

Do you want to be at the heart of gas and power trading operations and contribute to a reliable, future-oriented energy system? At Axpo Ukraine, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and smooth operational processes — while working in an international, collaborative environment.

🔍 Your role

You will support our trading activities by:

• Reconciling traded gas and power volumes, financial data, and counterparty documentation
• Monitoring cash flow, margin reporting, and payment confirmations
• Managing accounts receivable in line with contracts and operational data
• Supporting contract lifecycle management, invoicing, and compliance
• Preparing regulatory reports (REMIT/APD)
• Maintaining databases, supporting automation, and working with trading platforms

🎯 What you bring

• Degree in Economics or relevant training/experience (e.g. Office Manager)
• Ideally, experience in back-office operations or the energy sector
• Strong Excel skills (large datasets, formulas, pivot tables; VBA/Power Query is a plus)
• Python knowledge (pandas, numpy) is a strong advantage
• Fluency in English (B2+) and Ukrainian
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and a proactive mindset
