Aboutthe Role

Driven by Oximio’s rapid scaling, we are transitioning from ad hoc data handling to a mature, strategic approach to managing our data and AI ecosystem. The AI & Data Manager will be the architect of this evolution.

The mission is twofold: to harmonise and govern our data management practices into a seamless, scalable process, and to drive the strategic adoption of AI across the organisation. By turning data into a strategic asset, this role ensures Oximio maintains a competitive edge and achieves operational excellence, all while upholding the highest standards of compliance and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy & Roadmap

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Data & AI strategy aligned with Oximio’s business goals.

• Design and maintain the target data model, overseeing the roadmap from ad-hoc solutions to a unified strategic framework.

• Select and manage vendors and tools for data collection, storage, and processing.

2. Data Governance & Discovery

• Formalise data requirements across all business units and maintain a consistent data source register.

• Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

• Oversee data-related change management to bridge gaps in current systems and processes.

3. AI Enablement & Innovation

• Identify and implement AI opportunities to improve business processes and gain a competitive edge.

• Act as the custodian of the company’s AI Policy, ensuring ethical, safe, and compliant use of AI tools.

• Align AI solutions with existing data infrastructure and regulatory requirements.

4. Data Literacy & Culture

• Promote a data-driven culture by conducting training sessions and improving data literacy across the organisation.

• Provide subject matter expertise and support for data-related activities within company projects.

• Act as a bridge between technical solutions and business needs, empowering users to make informed decisions.

5. Stakeholder & Resource Management

• Source and manage external experts and resources to fill in-house expertise gaps.

• Collaborate with department heads to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data management, system integration, enterprise IT, or related roles

• Proven experience working with multiple business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS, finance, BI platforms)

• Hands-on experience with data discovery, data mapping, and documentation

• Experience leading or coordinating system-to-system integrations

• Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced analytics initiatives in a business environment

• Fluent English
