Senior Market Analyst

Kyiv Consulting is a subsidiary of BDO Germany and part of the global BDO network.

We provide in-house consulting, research, and analytics services to BDO partners worldwide. Our team supports international BDO offices across multiple service lines by delivering high-quality market intelligence, industry analysis, and strategic research for internal and client-facing projects.

We are looking for a Senior Market Analyst to join our team and lead analytical workstreams, deliver insights to international clients, and contribute to complex consulting engagements.

• Competitor and similar markets analysis — Aged Care services sector in the APAC region, identifying best practices for talent attraction and retention strategies
• Commercial due diligence support — for a large privately owned conglomerate in the Middle East
• Benchmarking analysis of professional services providers — MEA region, identifying gaps in service portfolio and market positioning for one of the BDO member firms
• Preparation of in-depth thought leadership reports — natural resources and energy sector (Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewables) for BDO member firms globally

We expect that you will

• Participate in consulting and research projects as a team / project leader • Communicate with clients on defining the project terms (scope of work, timeline, post-project communication, etc.) • Gather and analyze information, form and test hypotheses, develop and communicate findings to clients • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant insights • Develop business presentations tailored to project requirements: Market Analysis, Industry Trend Report, Competitive Analysis, Company Profile, Thought Leadership materials • Participate in problem-solving sessions, suggesting solutions • Conduct quality assurance checks on research data, analysis, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and relevance • Contribute to company’s business development initiatives

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in consulting / Big4 / investment banking / venture capital / research organizations / think tanks or similar analytical environments • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills • English level C1 or higher, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas both verbally and in writing • Strong analytical thinking, research skills, and structured problem solving • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience of project / team management
