Your role and impact

Our telecommunications group is looking to welcome a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to the team.

In this role, you will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and top management team, shaping the company’s financial strategy and ensuring its effective execution. You will lead a finance function that goes far beyond controlling performance metrics — one that actively drives business growth, supports strategic decision-making, and creates long-term value for the company.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic partnership with the CEO and top management

  • Shape and execute the company’s financial strategy
  • Contribute to strategic decisions related to business development, investments, and efficiency improvement
  • Analyze the economics of business lines, profitability, and new growth opportunities

Operational financial effectiveness

  • Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks
  • Improve operational efficiency and business profitability

Tax strategy and compliance

  • Ensure effective tax planning and sound business structuring
  • Minimize tax risks and ensure compliance with applicable legislation

Finance transformation

  • Lead the transformation of the finance function, including the integration of processes and systems
  • Further develop finance as a strategic business partner

Leadership and team development

  • Build and lead a strong, high-performing finance team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high standards of financial management

What we expect from the candidate:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a CFO or Deputy CFO in large, complex organizations
  • Hands-on experience managing finance during business transformation, scaling, or company integration
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, profitability management, tax planning, and financial risk management
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn data into business decisions
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with operational discipline and practical execution
  • Fluent English for negotiations, strategic communication, and working with financial documentation
