Service Engineer, Technician

Position Overview :

We are looking for someone who will work closely with engineers and operations teams to perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component-level repairs of UAV hardware and control systems. They will also assist in integrating payloads, calibrating sensors, updating firmware, and conducting system-level tests to verify airworthiness and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electromechanical products, including mechanical assembly and electrical wiring or component installation
• Conduct functional testing of electromechanical products to verify they operate according to specifications (e.g., electrical, and mechanical tests)
• Verify the integrity of electrical connections, wiring, and mechanical assemblies for proper functionality
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with electromechanical systems (e.g., electrical components, motors, sensors, PCBA boards)
• Program various types of electrical modules as part of the standard product bring-up process
• Rework existing products and support various unexpected activities that arise in a dynamic environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience building electromechanical products
• Intermediate professional English
• Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, drills)
• Basic understanding of electrical principles
• Experience making cables and harnesses from scratch
• Highly proficient in soldering precision electronic components
• Basic computer skills
• Comfortable with resets and changes in a fast-paced R&D environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
• Working knowledge of CAD software; SOLIDWORKS is a plus
• Quality standards and corrective/preventative action processes
