Service, Repair Team Lead (UAV)

Position Overview:

We are looking for someone who will lead service and repair functions both for UAV and for its platform and work closely with engineers and customer support teams. This role ensures that all service and repair operations are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards and includes leading a team of technicians, improving repair processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring service readiness of equipment deployed in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily service and repair operations for UAV and its equipment
• Diagnose technical faults and oversee complex repairs of hardware, electronic, or mechanical systems
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to technical specifications and in a timely manner
• Assign repair tasks and monitor team workload
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring technical issues
• Develop and improve repair workflows and service procedures
• Monitor repair statistics and identify areas for efficiency improvements
• Manage repair tools, spare parts, and service inventory
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of critical components
• Maintain detailed service records and repair logs
• Provide regular reports on repair status, service performance, and recurring issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, aviation technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in technical service, repair, or maintenance operations
• Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, drills).
• Basic understanding of electrical principles
• Experience leading or supervising technical teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Upper-intermediate English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UAV systems, robotics, embedded systems, or advanced electronics
• Working knowledge of CAD software, SOLIDWORKS is a plus
• Experience setting up repair processes and leading a team in a big service center
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and reliability engineering
