Visual, UI/UX Designer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented and versatile designer who can own VoltiE’s visual identity across both print and digital. This is a hybrid role combining marketing/sales design with UI/UX — ideal for someone who is equally comfortable creating a polished sales deck as they are designing a mobile app screen. You will work closely with our team and frontend developer to bring ideas to life across multiple channels.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of design experience covering both graphic/marketing and digital/UI design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work across both print/marketing materials and digital interfaces — candidates with only one skill set will not be considered
• Proficiency in Figma for UI/UX work and wireframing
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign for marketing and print materials
• Experience designing sales presentations, spec sheets, product brochures, and technical documentation
• Experience creating UI mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications
• Ability to maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Good written English — you will communicate with a US-based team
• Comfortable in a startup environment where priorities shift and deadlines are real

Nice to have: experience with website content updates, web store product imagery, or EV/cleantech/SaaS industry background

Work conditions:

• Full-time, 30−40 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Flexible hours with availability overlap during US Eastern Time for communication
• Contractor engagement
• Compensation: $900-$1,400/month depending on experience and portfolio quality
• 3-month trial period

Responsibilities:

Primary — Marketing & Sales Design:

• Create and maintain sales materials: presentations, one-pagers, brochures, and pitch decks
• Design equipment spec sheets, technical manuals, and product documentation
• Develop visual assets for client proposals and partner communications
• Maintain and evolve VoltiE’s brand identity across all materials

Secondary — Digital & UI/UX:

• Support website updates — banners, landing page visuals, product imagery
• Design UI mockups and product screens for mobile app and web store
• Create wireframes and visual prototypes to hand off to the frontend developer
• Design web store product images and marketing visuals for digital channels
