Middle UX/UI designer

Luxinten is currently looking for a responsible UX/UI designer to join our team. Our specialization embraces comprehensive eCommerce solutions, custom, and pre-built Magento extensions, long-term technical support, and maintenance for online stores.

​Requirements:

• Experience in web design from 3 years;
• Advanced level of English language proficiency (confident speaking and written speech);
• Experience working with ecommerce projects — must have;
• The strong portfolio that contains at least10 works (design of mobile and web projects);
• Expert level understanding of tools like Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator);
• Strong fundamental graphic design skills, including typography, composition, layout, grids, color;
• Understanding of the principles of building interfaces (UX / UI);
• Knowledge of current interface guides: recommendations from Apple, Material Design by Google;
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices;
• The ability to reasonably explain the reason of your design choices;
• attention to detail;
• desire for self-development;
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines;

​It would be a plus if you had:

• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Hotjar
• If you know Sketch, Adobe XD
• Knowledge ofMagento structure and its blocks, grids

Responsibilities:

• Collect and examine the needs of the user;
• Plan and develop new visual designs for digital products;
• Use sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs;
• Illustrate the functions of the website and develop UI mockups and prototypes;
• Help with design of digital marketing assets: website, banners, brand book, emails, etc.;
• Lead the interview with the customer to understand needs, user requirements, project.
• Provide UX/UI audits for the ready website.
• Present your designs to the customer;
• Review and edit the UI design according to the client’s feedback;
• Create and support design systems in your projects;
• Conduct user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience;
• Stay updated with information on the latest UI trends and design skills.
