QMS Manager (IATF 16949) — FIT VOLTAIRA Ukraine

About the Role

FIT VOLTAIRA Ukraine is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Management System (QMS) Manager to lead and continuously improve our IATF 16949-compliant system.

This is not a «certificate maintenance» role. We are looking for a strategic leader who can integrate automotive quality standards into real production processes, drive operational excellence, and act as a key partner to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System
• Ensure full compliance with customer-specific requirements (CSRs) and regulatory standards
• Act as the main contact for certification bodies and external auditors
• Drive implementation and effective use of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
• Promote risk-based thinking across all processes and proactively identify potential failures
• Monitor and manage KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision-making
• Lead internal and external audits, including supplier quality assessments
• Ensure process alignment across departments using a process-oriented approach
• Support problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why
• Build and lead a high-performing quality team with strong engagement and accountability
• Ensure ethical standards in quality decisions, including authority to stop production if required

Requirements

• Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QMS leadership role within the automotive industry
• Proven experience managing IATF 16949 certification and audits
• Experience working directly with certification bodies and inspectors
• Hard Skills & Certifications
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certification (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Automotive Core Tools:
• APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
• PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• FMEA (AIAG-VDA harmonized approach)
• SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
• Knowledge of Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR)
• Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why)
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification — preferred
