We are looking for a Digital Account Manager who can confidently lead client relationships, own SEO strategy, and drive measurable performance growth.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. We are looking for someone ambitious, proactive, and experienced specifically in managing digital marketing clients within an agency environment.
Role Overview
As a Digital Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of your client portfolio. You will lead communication, manage expectations, oversee SEO strategy, and ensure consistent performance improvements.
This is not a coordination role. We are looking for a strong relationship manager who understands digital marketing deeply and can confidently guide clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Leadership
- Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned clients
- Lead regular client meetings and performance calls
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication
- Manage client expectations and resolve issues professionally
- Build long-term trusted relationships
SEO Strategy & Performance Ownership
- Develop and oversee SEO strategies aligned with client business goals
- Conduct advanced keyword research and content planning
- Identify technical SEO opportunities and growth areas
- Perform website audits and provide actionable recommendations
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
- Deliver clear, insightful performance reports
- Ensure implementation quality across internal teams
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with content creators, developers, designers, and ad managers
- Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on time
- Maintain high standards of quality and accountability
Growth & Retention
- Identify upsell opportunities
- Proactively recommend improvements and new initiatives
- Take ownership of client satisfaction and retention
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as an Account Manager in a digital marketing agency
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SEO strategy and execution
- Proven experience managing digital marketing clients (not general account management)
- Deep understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization
- Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Search Console
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
