dNovo Group (https://dnovogroup.com/) is a Toronto-based digital marketing agency operating since 2011. We work with clients in the legal, medical, and construction industries, delivering a full 360-degree digital marketing approach.

We are looking for a Digital Account Manager who can confidently lead client relationships, own SEO strategy, and drive measurable performance growth.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. We are looking for someone ambitious, proactive, and experienced specifically in managing digital marketing clients within an agency environment.

Role Overview

As a Digital Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of your client portfolio. You will lead communication, manage expectations, oversee SEO strategy, and ensure consistent performance improvements.

This is not a coordination role. We are looking for a strong relationship manager who understands digital marketing deeply and can confidently guide clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Leadership
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned clients
  • Lead regular client meetings and performance calls
  • Maintain consistent, proactive communication
  • Manage client expectations and resolve issues professionally
  • Build long-term trusted relationships

SEO Strategy & Performance Ownership

  • Develop and oversee SEO strategies aligned with client business goals
  • Conduct advanced keyword research and content planning
  • Identify technical SEO opportunities and growth areas
  • Perform website audits and provide actionable recommendations
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
  • Deliver clear, insightful performance reports
  • Ensure implementation quality across internal teams

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with content creators, developers, designers, and ad managers
  • Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on time
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accountability

Growth & Retention

  • Identify upsell opportunities
  • Proactively recommend improvements and new initiatives
  • Take ownership of client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as an Account Manager in a digital marketing agency
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SEO strategy and execution
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing clients (not general account management)
  • Deep understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimization
  • Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Search Console
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
