Junior automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented, ambitious, and motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our growing team!

What we expect from the candidate:

• Knowledge of methodologies and principles of testing Websites;
• Experience with manual software testing;
• Familiarity with WordPress;
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail;
• Understanding of UX fundamentals;
• Understanding of the principles of test case development;
• At least 1 year of experience in cross-browser web application testing;
• Understanding of software development processes and life cycle (SDLC, STLC);
• Ability to work confidently with the browser console;
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of testing theory, principles and methods;
• Experience in writing test documentation, test cases and bug reports;
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• Strong understanding of HTTP and browser DevTools;
• Testing new functionality and validating expected behavior;
• Ability to verify layout quality and responsive design ;
• Tracking and verifying defect fixes

What you will do:

• Regularly verify that all website forms submit correctly and that submissions appear in the admin panel;
• Monthly check of all websites after plugin updates to ensure core functionality works correctly;
• Run regression testing after every update on each project, including desktop and mobile versions;
• Maintaining test documentation (Test Plan, Test Report);
• Creating checklists and test cases according to the test plan documentation and product requirements (Checklists, TestCases);
• Execution of testing, analysis of test results;
• Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs (Bug Reports);
• Performing backend tests (working with APIs, Logs);
• Collaboration with all members of the development team (PM, Developers, Designers).
• Maintaining test documentation (Test Plan, Test Report).
• Maintain and execute automated checks based on Google Sheets with validation strategies and website data;
• Perform regular accessibility (ADA) checks; and monitor PageSpeed performance across all sites.

Good to have:

• Experience with Figma;
• SEO testing experience;
• Basic knowledge of JS/TS.
