Camino

Camino is a registered NGO in Ukraine with the mission to empower communities through the provision of essential WASH, protection, and energy services, fostering resilience, dignity, and self-sufficiency. The vision of Camino is a Ukraine where all individuals are safe, cared for and have access to water, sanitation and reliable energy, enabling them to thrive and contribute fully to a strengthened society.

The Camino program originated from the 2022 full scale invasion of Ukraine to address the emergency needs of frontline communities. With skill gaps increasing due to population movements and mobilization and the need to raise national capacity in multiple sectors, Camino has expanded to include a strong capacity building program in its 3 primary sectors and retains its strong technical presence in the water sector. Camino’s core programs include: WASH, energy, and protection.
