    Volunteers for Ukraine (VfU) is a non-profit organization comprised mostly of volunteers that dedicate their time and expertise to support humanitarian missions in Ukraine. This role is a temporary / contract role for 30 hours per week to run marketing, advertising and communications for the charity. This role is foundational to fundraising so that VfU can scale and provide more support to Ukraine. This role will have a direct impact on humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine.

    This is a part time contract role for 25 hours of work per week at 200 UAH per hour

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field.
    • Language: The ability to write newsletters and marketing advertisements in grammatically correct English.
    • Experience: Minimum 3−5 years of experience in marketing and advertising, with a focus on digital and social media advertising. Recent experience at the tactical level, with direct hands on content production, analytics, AB testing and ad optimization.
    • Skills:
      • Proficient in using advertising and analytics tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, etc.
      • Strong knowledge of A/B testing, ad campaign optimization, and marketing communication journeys.
      • Exceptional creativity and innovation in developing advertisement creatives.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Advanced or Fluent in English. Able to develop ads in grammatically correct English without supervision.

    Working conditions: Remote, Contract

    Responsibilities: Develop and launch ad creatives and campaigns across multiple platforms that drive fundraising for Volunteers for Ukraine projects.

    1. Marketing Advertisement Creatives:
      • Design and develop innovative and compelling advertisement creatives for various donor campaigns.
      • Collaborate with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and objectives.
    2. Digital and Social Media Advertisement:
      • Plan, execute, create and manage digital and social media ad campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
      • Monitor and analyze ad performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize ROI.
    3. Ad Campaign Optimization:
      • Utilize analytics tools to monitor ad campaign performance.
      • Implement strategies to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness and ROI.
    4. AB Testing:
      • Develop and execute A/B tests to identify the most effective ad creatives and marketing strategies across all platforms.
      • Analyze data and provide insights to improve future campaigns.
    5. Marketing Communication Journeys:
      • Create and optimize marketing communication journeys for various customer segments.
      • Develop content for email/SMS automated journeys and donor campaigns
      • Ensure consistent and personalized communication across multiple channels.
    6. Video and Digital Content Production:
      • Produce engaging video, images and digital content to support marketing and advertising campaigns.
      • Act as a content creator. Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality and consistency.
    7. Ad Analytics and ROI Analysis:
      • Conduct detailed analytics and report on the performance of various ad campaigns.
      • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance ROI, focusing on key performance indicators and metrics. (click through rate, conversion rate, cost per return, etc.)
    8. Instagram/Meta Platforms Management:
      • Specialize in crafting tailored ad campaigns for Instagram and other Meta platforms that drive donations and emotional response to calls to action, ensuring alignment with overall fundraising objectives.
      • Stay abreast of the latest trends and updates in Meta’s advertising algorithms and strategies, applying this knowledge to optimize ad performance.
