We are seeking a Health & Safety Engineer who will ensure compliance with Ukrainian legislation and corporate H&S standards, implement best global practices, and continuously improve safety performance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with Ukrainian occupational safety legislation and VIPCEM H&S standards
• Organizing employee and management H&S training and knowledge assessments
• Оbtaining permits and regulatory approvals
• Coordinating mandatory medical examinations
• Supporting the Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001), conducting internal audits and contractor audits
• Managing contractor compliance with H&S requirements
• Implementing LSR, LOTOTO, Near-Miss reporting, and Risk Assessment practices
• Developing and implementing H&S procedures for drivers
• Participating in vehicle inspections
• Conducting incident investigations (including road accidents) and сorrective аction management.
• Delivering driver training and safety briefings.
• Route risk assessments (high-risk areas, weather risks, loading/unloading conditions)
• H&S Documentation Management (training logs, reports, investigation records, and training programs)
• Coordination with Government Authorities (state labor service, police, insurance companies, auditors)
• Conducting internal audits for drivers, routes, parking areas, garages, and loading areas.

Requirements:

• 1−3 years of experience in a similar Health & Safety role
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in occupational safety, road traffic regulations, vehicle operation, and driver working time requirements
• Experience delivering H&S briefings, trainings, and instruction sessions for employees and contractors
• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 45001 standards
• Proficiency in LOTO procedures
• Ability to conduct risk assessments
• English proficiency at Intermediate level or above
• Confident user of MS Office, experience with SAP is an advantage
• Willingness to travel, valid driver’s licens
