Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for PC games.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns before launch, during release, and post-launch.
- Promote game projects on Steam.
- Increase wishlist numbers, improve conversion rates, and drive game sales.
- Prepare, optimize, and manage Steam store pages.
- Plan participation in Steam Next Fest, seasonal sales, and other Steam events.
- Collaborate with influencers, streamers, gaming media, and key opinion leaders.
- Build and grow game communities on Discord, Reddit, Steam Community, and social media platforms.
- Work closely with developers, artists, and designers to create marketing assets.
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, audience behavior, and key marketing metrics.
- Identify new player acquisition channels and contribute to the company’s brand growth.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in game marketing.
- Hands-on experience promoting games on Steam.
- Strong understanding of Steam algorithms, promotion mechanics, wishlist growth strategies, and successful game launch processes.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- English proficiency sufficient for communicating with international partners and engaging with English-speaking audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with successful game releases on Steam.
- Proven case studies demonstrating wishlist growth and increased game sales.
- Experience participating in Steam Next Fest.
- Familiarity with Discord, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other gaming industry platforms.
- Experience working in an indie game studio or publishing company.
- Understanding of the gaming market and current game marketing trends.
