SMM manager

About MOMI MOMI (matchamomi.com) is a modern premium DTC matcha brand for the Tier-1 market (US). Our product is already selling on Shopify, and we’re moving from launch to building a full-fledged brand. We’re looking for someone who will personally bring our social media to life and take great care of our customers.

You won’t be starting from zero. We already have a completed target-audience analysis, competitor and reference tables, a small library of ready UGC materials, and a dedicated paid-ads team. We’re also hiring a separate creative / video editor for ad production — so you won’t have to build complex ad creatives yourself. Your job is to own organic social and customer care, work with the materials we provide, bring ideas, and coordinate with the rest of the team.

Format: Part-time · Remote · ~20 hrs/week · $600/month (depending on level and scope; reviewed based on results). Flexible schedule, no US time-zone requirement.

What you’ll do

SMM (~70%)

• Run our Instagram + Facebook (later possibly TikTok): ~3−5 content pieces/week + Stories.
• Create English-language content: Reels, short videos, photos, carousels, copy.
• Work with what we already have — ready UGC materials, competitor/reference tables, audience analysis — adapt it for social and propose your own ideas around matcha, wellness, and premium lifestyle (recipes, educational content).
• Shape the pages: our Instagram/Facebook are at an early stage and the current content is not the final style reference — you’ll have real influence over content strategy and visual direction.
• Use AI (ChatGPT/Gemini, etc.) for ideas and drafts, then polish into natural English — never post raw AI text.
• Coordinate with our creative/video editor and paid-ads team: hand off ideas and briefs, don’t work in a silo.
• Send a short weekly report: what was done, what worked, what we’re testing next.

Customer Support (~30%, light in volume but daily)

• Reply to customers in English by email and social DMs — ~2−3 requests/day.
• Write high-quality, friendly email responses.
• Help with orders, delivery, address changes, returns, and product questions; manage orders in Shopify (we'll teach you over 2 onboarding calls).
• Calmly handle non-standard or difficult situations — a tricky case shouldn’t trigger panic or an over-emotional reaction; the job is to understand it and propose a solution.
• Help the customer while protecting the brand’s interests and reputation.
• We provide the overall vision, communication standards, templates, and examples of typical situations.
• Respond daily and on time — volume is low, but days can’t be skipped (~30 min/day is enough).

You’ll be a great fit if

• English B2-C1+, content sounds natural to an English-speaking audience.
• You love matcha, wellness, and the aesthetics of modern DTC brands.
• Autonomous, structured, proactive — you check with AI and try things yourself, and you coordinate well with a team.
• You can shoot and assemble simple, aesthetic videos (Canva / CapCut or similar).
• You use AI actively but never post raw AI text.
• A portfolio or your own profile is a plus. Advantage: e-commerce / Shopify / organic Instagram growth / customer support / UGC.
