Full stack developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong C#/.NET experience to support the migration of a legacy backend to a modern .NET 8 architecture. You will work closely with the Lead Developer to migrate APIs, maintain production stability, and ensure feature parity between the legacy and new systems.

Responsibilities

• Migrate API endpoints from .NET Framework 4.6.1 / ASP.NET Web API 2 to .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Implement endpoint logic using MediatR, FluentValidation, and the new application architecture.
• Validate parity between legacy and migrated API responses.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve migration issues and regressions.
• Write, maintain, and improve unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with the Lead Developer through code reviews and iterative development.
• Maintain stable, reliable, and secure production APIs throughout the migration process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with C#/.NET development.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and practical experience with Entity Framework (EF Core and/or EF6).
• Experience using Git (branching, pull requests, and code reviews).
• Ability to understand, maintain, and safely extend legacy codebases.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, validation, and error handling.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MediatR, FluentValidation, and CQRS.
• Performance optimization experience (LINQ, SQL tuning, N+1 query analysis).
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• Basic understanding of tracing API usage within frontend JavaScript applications.

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (Israel Time)
