Main duties
Managed a branch of an international logistics company, operating
between China, Ukraine and CIS countries.
The Guangzhou warehouse and office were established in 2015, and
the Kyiv office has been operating since 2017.
I managed a logistics operation in China including a 1200 m2
warehouse, an 80 m2 office, and a team of approximately 20
employees. My responsibilities included property selection, lease
negotiations, contractor management, facility setup, maintenance
coordination, budgeting, operational planning and daily management.
I was responsible for Health & Safety, fire safety compliance, staff
briefings, workplace safety procedures, risk assessments and ensuring
safe warehouse operations. I organized safety training, monitored the
use of protective equipment, supervised loading and unloading
activities, maintained compliance with company procedures,
operational standards.
I managed relationships with landlords, transport companies,
maintenance contractors, security providers, other service suppliers.
I also oversaw CCTV systems, warehouse equipment, storage
infrastructure, inventory control, operational documentation.
I conducted regular inspections of warehouse and office facilities,
identified operational and safety risks, implemented corrective actions
and ensured compliance with company procedures and local
requirements. I coordinated repair works, equipment maintenance and
improvements to warehouse infrastructure.
I handled customer service issues, investigated incidents, resolved
complaints, managed compensation cases when appropriate, prepared
operational and financial reports. I regularly travelled throughout
China before 2022 to inspect suppliers, warehouses and loading
operations, ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, efficient
logistics processes were maintained.
I supervised international cargo movements, coordinated loading of
trucks and 40ft containers, worked closely with manufacturers,
logistics partners, and ensured that shipments were handled safely,
efficiently and in accordance with agreed procedures and customer

Reason for leaving
The business was scaled down due to significant market changes in
2022-2026, reduced commercial cargo volumes to Ukraine, declining
profitability and a principled strategic decision to discontinue
operations with CIS markets in 2022. In 2026 I subsequently decided
to focus on new long-term career opportunities in Ukraine in EU
