Since 2005, in an effort to keep myself updated, I have participated in a number of UN Conferences at UN Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as attending other European conferences dealing with sustainable development, the economics and finance of sustainable development and how to teach these issues.
Because of this, I was the only professor at my university who would give students updated information on alternative economic and financial developments.
I am an associate staff member of Friends of the Earth, Ukraine, and due to my present situation as a displaced person I have upgraded my work with this organization, and participated in and lectured at a recent conference in Dnepropetrovsk on energy sustainability.
I also participated in the European Environment Bureau (EEB) annual conference in Brussels, Belgium, in October 2015, in the 11th International Seminar of Sustainable Regions in Gran Canarias organized by the Mancomunidad del Sureste de Gran Canaria, and held in April 2016 and in the International Seminar “Think. Link. Change” which took place in September 2016 in Tatariv (Ukraine) and was organized by The Regional Environment Centre, Europe.
