Objective

Seeking a challenging position of a teacher where my extensive professional and practical experience will be fully utilized.

Summary
I started speaking English when I was two as my grandmother used to be an English teacher and all my relatives lived in the USA; so from my early childhood I was determined to get into a foreign language university and become a teacher. As a student I got valuable experience working as an interpreter for the local executive council. After graduation I started working in school as I found it interesting and motivating to share my knowledge with children. At the moment I run a small language school. I can get on well with both children and adults (I teach English and Russian to English-speaking Procter&Gamble employees). At work my motto is ‘Never stop looking for new more effective approaches.’

1996-2000 – Bachelor’s degree in English linguistics
April 2000 – attending lectures in German universities as a DAAD scholarship winner
2000-2001 - Master’s degree in English and German linguistics and literature (Zaporozh’e state University)

2001-2005 – Foreign language teacher in Nikopol secondary school
2005- currently – self-employed running and teaching English and Russian (to English speaking people) in a small foreign language school
2002-2005 – translator in a Ukrainian leading tube manufacturer
