2023-Jan-To date; International Expert-Laboratory Systems, SustaiNet Group Limited
(SGL) in support for agricultural production and quality assurance in in Somalia, Puntland and
Somaliland (GIZ project).
Tasks as an International Expert
1. Consultancy in the field of regulation, ISO standards, also within EAC and COMESA.
2. Consulting for process support in the introduction and implementation of quality
standards.
3. Specific laboratory analyses (including installation and operation of laboratory
equipment).
4. Advise competent authorities, in particular Somali Office Standards (SOBS) and the

1. Develops protocols (SOPs) and carries out method developments/validation to be used
in laboratory investigations that meets international standards.
2. Preparation of pesticide-based syrup used in studies on effects on honeybees.
3. Perform chemical residues (pesticide and antibiotics) in beehive products and in other
laboratory samples.
