«Modern Engineering Design» (MED) welcomes new challengers from Ukraine. If you are looking to make a move and are a highly motivated professional, please join our team!
We work in the packaging, pharmaceutical and beauty industries. We design industrial custom-made machines and automatic systems. Experience in any of these areas would be a benefit.
We are looking for an experienced (5+ years) mechanical design engineer who meets the requirements below:
Required skills and conditions:
- A Bachelor’s (Master's) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Broad technical understanding of machine design and process principles.
- Understanding of production & fabrication technologies such as welding, laser/plasma cutting and bending, 2−5 axis CNC machining.
- Knowledge and experience in air components' selection, servo & stepper drive technologies.
- Proficiency in the use of Solid Works 2022 (or newer), SolidWorks Enterprise PDM.
- ANSI/ISO standards knowledge. Tolerances (GD&T).
- Basic understanding of electrical controls (PLC, HMI).
- Working knowledge of English B2 or higher.
- Fast internet connection and ability to work alone without constant supervision.
- Ability to communicate (voice, text and screen sharing) on Skype or similar products.
- Agreement to track daily work with stand-alone software.
- Agreement to work an exact number of working hours per week (at the beginning of the project) and keep to this commitment throughout the duration of the project.
