Job Purpose:

The Recruiting Internship requires a highly driven and self-directed individual who has the ability to work with limited direction and be extremely proactive. This internship is designed to aggressively learn IT industry and SoftServe culture through on-the-job experience.

The SoftServe Recruiting Intern is a paid internship position that will support the Recruiting Team with searching active candidates. This is a full-time temporary position. By the end of the Internship one of interns will be offered a position of Sourcing Specialist at SoftServe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify the next softservers via application review, candidate searches via LinkedIn and other possible sources
  • Construct strategies with Recruiter/Senior Recruiter team members and/or hiring managers to understand position requirements and short and long term talent needs
  • Communicate with candidates to follow up on process steps and promote the SoftServe as the best employment choice
  • Review resumes received and conduct preliminary candidate screenings. Provide recommendations to Recruiter/Senior Recruiter team members
  • Successfully share top talents with the necessary Recruiter/Senior Recruiter team members and facilitating the initial conversations between the candidates and the recruiters
  • Bring into light new avenues to find the best talent digitally or at in-person events, job fairs, and meet-ups
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting and use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
  • Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment

Education and degree —

  • Bachelor degree or higher

Specialized knowledge —

  • Understanding of software development company functioning
  • Understanding of offshore software development specifics
  • Understanding of SoftServe internal functioning (desirable)
  • Understanding of full lifecycle recruiting components

Skills and abilities —

  • Knowledge of and experience in internet navigation, social media and electronic communications
  • English level — Intermediate Strong
