JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced, Sales Manager, Neuro Modulation (deep brain stimulation, Spinal cord stimulation and RF ablation). The Sales Manager communicates with physicians, cathlabs, and hospitals to sell a variety of Boston Scientific medical devices in an assigned accounts. May conduct marketing surveys, effectiveness reviews of calls/sales activities, and accounts analysis. Services accounts, suggests and presents new products, and takes orders. As appropriate, the Sales Manager assists on sales strategy promotion.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Lead the strategies, annual goals (Sales plan) and objectives of the Neuro Modulation Portfolio.
  2. Managing the entire Neuro Modulation Portfolio product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  3. Analysis of customer/market research, current market conditions and competitor information and activity.
  4. Acts with accountability to achieve the strategic imperatives defined for the Neuro Modulation business unit.
  5. Contributes to set up and develop of annual Business and Account Plans to grow the market for the Neuro Modulation portfolio.
  6. Identifies business growth opportunities and potential unmet customer requirements and provides vision and focus to move ideas to marketplace.
  7. Meets with key healthcare specialists to discuss product features and benefits.
  8. Implement process within the business unit to provide input on forecasts, inventory control, phase in/out plans, clinical evaluation, etc
  9. Meets the customers regularly to assess future market needs, as well as to maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders. Should also identify, ‘recruit' and retain KOL’s to support growth Strategy.

REQUIRED:

  • 1−3 years sales experience within medical industry is a must.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Sales skills
  • High level of business acumen
  • High interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Able to prepare and present a business plan, including a sales forecast and anticipated expenditure
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in the Neuro Modulation or related fields
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DBS, SCS procedures, or RF ablation procedures
  • Familiarity with neurosurgery and operating room procedures and protocol.
