Job Description

In this position you are responsible for adapting and implementing key marketing strategies defined by the Regional Brand Team for the country. You will be the local expert in your Category ensuring effective, creative and efficient implementation of marketing plans by working with agencies, customer marketing teams, licensing and sales teams. Your Primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintain constant communication with Regional Brand Team to share expertise of the local market as well as identify synergies, best practices and opportunities within the country.
  • Prepare and executing annual Marketing Plan for the Brands within the Category.
  • Ensure best effective marketing mix, strategic and action plans for the Brands.
  • Run the annual business planning cycle for the Category & review it if needed.
  • Manage the product range assortment.
  • Responsibility for the SKU long-term forecasting.
  • Contribute to the pricing policy, enabling the achievement of the targets for contribution margin.
  • Contribute in A&P setting & monitoring by type: local PR — local events — Media buying — Local adaptations — Content Placement — Local brand initiatives — Trade initiatives.
  • Responsibility for ROI evaluation.
  • Work closely with local sales, trade marketing, and local providers (Media, PR, Creative, Digital and Trade marketing agencies) to drive sales, revenue and market share.
  • Ensure constant monitoring and analysis of sales results as well as competitive scape.
  • Driving effective business planning to achieve better execution and results.

In order to accomplish your most important goals, you will need to be able to set your priorities, push the business with your new ideas, think about process improvement and take action when necessary.

Experience, Education & Skills

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Marketing or any other related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in marketing/trade marketing roles preferably within an FMCG company, licensed consumer goods, Apparel or Health & Beauty Industry.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly good Excel knowledge.
  • Fluent in written & spoken English.
  • Good media knowledge and digital knowledge.
  • Profound presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment.
  • Problem solving & analytical ability and a high level of organizational and time management skills.
