Project Manager (Design)

D&D is a UX/UI agency working with clients from the US / Europe / global. We design Web and Mobile products for eCommerce, FinTech, Healthcare, SaaS, and more. Looking for a Project Manager who will help us maintain speed, quality, and happy clients.

Your focus

Project discipline

Clear goals, timelines, budgets, and risk management that ensure control and transparency for both clients and the team.

Design direction

You have to understand the UX/UI process and help the team deliver logical user flows, clean layouts, and a clear handoff to development.

Responsibilities

• Everyday based communication with english-speaking clients (calls and chat), facilitation of workshops, demos, and retrospectives

• Planning and managing design projects in ClickUp: task creation and prioritization, sprints, dependency control

• Scope and management changes: requirements definition, PRD/BRD, roadmap updates, expectation management

• Timeline and quality control, Design QA organization, handoff preparation (Figma), pre-development support

• Risk management, budget control, designer workload planning, status reporting (WIP, burnup, burndown)

• Support and improvement of internal processes: templates, SLAs, checklists, pipeline optimization

Requirements

• English level B2+ (daily client calls are part of the job)

• 2+ years of experience as a PM in digital or IT, preferably in a design agency or a product with strong UX/UI

• Understanding of the full design cycle: research → information architecture → flows and wireframes → UI → handoff

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, including resource planning and scope management

• Tools:ClickUp, Jira, or Notion; Figma and FigJam; basic understanding of analytics

• Abilitytoprepare PRD and BRD documents, risk registers, and clear status updates for stakeholders

Nice to have

• Sales skills and objection handling

• Experience in eCommerce, FinTech, or SaaS, including work with Upwork clients

• Strong ClickUp skills: views, automations, custom fields

• Understanding of UX metrics, A/B testing, and basic product analytics

• Basic understanding with a motion graphics

Soft skills

• Clear communication, structured thinking, ability to raise risks before deadlines

• Strong self-organization, ownership, attention to detail

• Mature mindset: acknowledge mistakes → propose solutions → formalize them in the process
