The Role

We are looking for a full-time Data Processing Quality Engineer in Lviv to join our AI/ML team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, organization, and integrity of data used in annotation pipelines and ML projects. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving are essential.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, processes, and tools, and who are comfortable taking ownership of quality standards in a fast-paced AI/ML environment.

What You’ll Do

• Data Storage & Organization
• Catalog and organize data systematically within Label Studio, ensuring easy accessibility for annotation tasks
• Ensure there are no duplicate, unneeded, or unknown projects in the system
• Regularly check datasets for inconsistencies, duplicates, or errors to maintain highdata quality
• Prepare datasets for customer projects that cover hard model cases and ensure a positive impact on the general model
• Validate data for quality, quantity, and balance Documentation & Reporting
• Update and maintain detailed documentation of annotation guidelines and workflow processes
• Ensure documentation is user-friendly and collect feedback from users
• Maintain up-to-date release documentation for Label Studio and the Keypoint Annotations Tool
• Report bugs found in Label Studio, the W2MO Keypoint Annotation Tool, and other annotation tools

Data Annotation & Labeling

• Annotate and label data according to project-specific guidelines
• Review, validate, and correct annotations for quality and consistency
• Identify edge cases and inconsistencies in data
• Follow strict annotation rules and quality standards

Testing Annotation Tools

• Test the full annotation workflow in Label Studio and the W2MO Keypoint Annotation Tool and report bugs
• Work closely with the ML team on tool testing and improvement
• Research everything that may be needed for data processing tasks

What You Bring

Languages: Good English reading comprehension (B1 or higher)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field (preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Basic to intermediate computer skills and software proficiency
• Understanding of data structures and formats
• Basic knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
• Familiarity with data annotation tools (Label Studio experience is a plus)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ability to follow and document project guidelines and specifications precisely

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in data annotation, data quality, or QA roles
• Ability to identify patterns and edge cases in data
• Understanding of computer vision applications
