Legal Consultant (Corporate Law Group)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out research on various legal matters, analysis of court practice
• Prepare legal advice, memoranda, draft contracts/transaction documents, engage in DD legal assignments, etc.
• Under counsel’s / senior consultant’s supervision draft proposals and responses to clients' requests
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls
• Cooperate with junior staff, share experience and feedback
• Report to a counsel on the progress with client engagements
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience at a paralegal/ legal consultant/ junior associate position in a leading law firm and/or a Big 4 firm is a must
• Good knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Investment, Commercial law
• Knowledge on Banking & Finance Law, currency control regulation is a plus
• Fluent Ukrainian, confident spoken and written English
• University (institute) degree in Law (completed studies or last courses) from a renowned Ukrainian university
• Studies (e.g., LLM) in a recognized foreign university/college is a plus, not a must
• Responsible, goal-oriented, ambitious and ready to work hard
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, stress resistant

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
