Job Title: Product Development Specialist (Dry and Semi-Dry Persimmon Products)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Product Development Specialist to join our team, focusing on the production, improvement, and expansion of our existing dry and semi-dry persimmon products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product innovation, conducting experiments, and overseeing the development of new product concepts. Additionally, they will play a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and profitability of our product line.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce existing dry and semi-dry persimmon products, ensuring consistency and quality.
2. Continuously improve existing production processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
3. Generate new product ideas, conduct experiments, and produce sample products utilizing various fruits, vegetables, and greens.
4. Research latest technologies and trends in food processing to develop innovative product concepts.
5. Select raw materials and ingredients from suppliers, ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness.
6. Prepare product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitability.
7. Check and approve product specifications and labeling to meet regulatory standards.
8. Implement and improve safety and quality control procedures throughout the production process.
9. Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
10. Design processes and machinery for large-scale production of dry and semi-dry persimmon products.
11. Develop procedures to ensure consistency and safety in product manufacturing.
12. Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency in production processes.
13. Research modern technologies for utilizing waste in the development of new products.
14. Identify complementary dried fruits for packaging alongside dried persimmon products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in product development within the food industry, particularly in dried fruit production.
• Strong knowledge of food processing technologies and techniques.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
