Android Mobile Developer

Our partner, U-PROX, has a new vacancy for Android Mobile Developer. U-PROX Systems is a leader among manufacturers of integrated security systems in Ukraine. We manufacture alarm systems and access control systems at our own production facilities. We have developed a wide portfolio of devices integrated with mobile and desktop applications, with a sustainable server infrastructure. The internal R&D department is responsible for the development of our own hardware and software solutions, creating a strong culture of U-PROX engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cutting-edge Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Android development.

Requirements:

• 3−5 years of proven experience as an Android Developer.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of the Android platform and its guidelines.
• Strong Knowledge of Bluetooth technology and hands-on experience with geoposition.
• Familiarity with Material Design principles.
• Solid Experience with web sockets and coroutines will be considered a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Additional Qualifications That Will Be a Plus:

• Knowledge in Flutter will be highly regarded. Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks, particularly Flutter, can provide a significant advantage in our diverse and evolving projects.
