We are looking for a Power BI Developer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team in Kyiv.

Job Description

The main role of a Power BI developer is to create Power BI reports, provide business intelligence services, develop state-of-the-art BI software; then interact with Microsoft’s Power BI to build, manage, and maintain BI applications that serve to provide the business with actionable business insights.

Required Skills:

• — Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects
• — Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
• — Experience working with Power BI, Tableau or SAP
• — Familiarity with scripting and programming
• — Knowledge of SQL server
• — Intermediate level of English is a must

Preferentially:

• — Possess skills in: business intelligence, database, data integration, data modeling and other technical BI concepts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• — Take raw data and create consistent and useful reports to glean meaningful business insights.
• — Identify and understand business requirements through a comprehensive analysis of a company’s data using Power BI software and speaking with the management team
• — Contextualize these requirements with reference to BI, which helps identify which BI tools and services are needed. While Power BI’s data processing tool might justify the use of Power Query, its bar chart might use Power Pivot.
• — After setting BI requirements in line with business goals and needs, is able to translate them into technical tasks, such as data normalization, outlier filtering, and then running the data through a pre-established algorithm, which it could be the mathematical formula for the estimated share price of a public company, for example.
• — Develop Power BI reports by creating visually appealing and interactive reports, dashboards, and other data models using Power BI scripts.
• — Ensure reports and dashboards perform an efficient and structured analysis. From setting business requirements to developing BI reports overseeing the entire process.
