Senior Wordpress Developer (English)

Requirement: I am looking for a Wordpress developer with good conversational English for a remote full-time position in an American web studio. Shift towards American time zone required (start at 15−17, finish at 23−01 Kyiv time).

Backend Requirements

Required Skills

• Fluent with PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2
• 2−3 Years minimum of creating and deploying WordPress websites with custom-built themes utilizing best practices and the standard template hierarchy
• Extensive experience with these Wordpress plugins: Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Gravity Forms
• WPML
• W3 Total Cache
• All-In-One WP Security
• Wordfence
• Experienced with JS and modern CSS
• Solid understanding of Git, branches, pull requests, merges, and overall best practices
• Experienced with MySQL including setup, and taking & restoring backups
• Comfortable with terminal commands and Linux server deployment.

• Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks
• Proficient with ReactJS, ES6 and package managers (NPM, Yarn, etc)
• Experience with the Sage Starter Theme (v9, v10) utilizing Laravel Blade templates / partials / syntax

and controllers.

• Experienced with Composer (PHP), and adding/managing WordPress plugins with it. Proficient at creating or consuming REST API endpoints
• Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, 2.2, AA compliance)

Preferred Skills

• Experienced with WP-CLI tools
• Experienced with NGINX deployment and configurations
• Familiar setting up CI/CD process through Github Action, Bitbucket Pipeline or other tools Experience working in a team environment with a frontend developer.

• 2−3 Years minimum of translating designs from Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD into fully-responsive markup
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, branches, pull requests, merges, and overall best practices
• Knowledge of modern development workflow using NPM, Yarn, Webpack Experience with modern CSS layouts utilizing Flexbox and Grid.
• Experience developing with ES6 and React
• Comfortable with terminal commands and Linux server deployment. Knowledge of SVG and CSS animations
• Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, 2.2, AA compliance)

Preferred Skills
