Senior QA Engineer

Role Overview:

The Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of software products. Collaborating closely with both our development and data science teams, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and refining our QA processes to support integrating complex data solutions into our offerings. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of QA strategies and test plans to ensure software quality.
• Work closely with the development team to understand features and technical implementation, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Perform both automated and manual testing, including but not limited to functional, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Enhance our CI/CD pipeline with robust testing solutions.
• Advocate for QA best practices across the development team and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage testing environments, including data setup and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand user needs and to develop quality metrics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA engineer in software development, with a strong background in testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools, script development, and testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience with SQL
• Expertise in API testing and a thorough understanding of RESTful principles.
• Proficiency in version control systems, preferably GIT (Stash, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Upper-intermediate level of English for effective communication within a global team.
